| Make sure to hit one!
Wind Cave and Jewel cave are the huge National Park and National Monuments. Check the web sites and make sure there isn`t a remodel project going on, the elevators are getting updated.
Rushmore Cave is a great smaller private cave tour, and other fun activities for the family. Newly updated, its not a worn out tourist attraction! The cave is a part of Rush Mountain Adventure Park |

| Really fast European style gas powered go carts. There is no other way to get this kind of racing experience with out an enormous investment!
And make sure to do the laser tag. It is a thrill, even if you don`t think it is what you are in to. Something about shooting it out with your family is very therapeutic.
There are also batting cages, some older slower carts for kids, video games.
Full disclosure, I did work here for the previous owner through high school and college. And when Harry Connick Jr came to Rapid City for a concert, he raced the owner in the day before the show. All during his concert he brought up how much fun he had racing go carts. The crowd didn`t react well when he said it was more fun then Mt Rushmore!
The only negative is the exhaust smell on certain days, may bother some. |

| Check out the schedule online, and don`t be afraid to try something different! The heavy metal yoga is great, and I tried a Saturday night class that had a live DJ.
Just don``t be intimidated, all skills are welcome. Great atmosphere.

| Every Vintage arcade game you can imagine, and some you can`t! There is also a new 4 player PacMan game that my family really gets into. On the weekend there are family specials with half price pizza. I heard it is pretty lively late into the night but I will probably never find out.
Food is great, beer is great. Located under and in partnership Kol, the restaurant on the corner of Mt Rushmore Rd and Main St. |
| This is a great attraction is good or bad weather!
I know it sounds weird, alligators and reptiles in the Black Hills. But, it really is internationally known for their collections and the care they provide their animals. A top shelf attraction, not a weird roadside hustle!
You will learn a lot, and be very entertained. You may even do some Christmas shopping in the gift shop. |
